The Association will provide good quality accommodation and manage and maintain it to the highest possible standard.
The Association will also help to regenerate Royston in partnership with other agencies.
Aims
The Association will: Provide good quality accommodation for those in housing need
Promote resident control and involvement and help local people to make decisions which affect their lives
Create a place that people are happy to live in and proud to say they come from
Provide high quality management and maintenance services Pursue development opportunities within the immediate area
Provide a mix of house types in terms of size and amenity, including special needs housing.
This will require imaginative use of existing houses and buying and developing other buildings and land in the area Be financially viable, with proper control and monitoring in the short – medium term and proper planning for the longer term Work with other agencies to help to regenerate Royston both physically and socio economically Adopt a philosophy of continuous improvement as exemplified in the Japanese philosophy of “Kaizen” which refers to all functions and involves all people including Management Committee, staff and residents
