Ending Your Tenancy

If you are moving out you must give four weeks’ notice, in writing, to end your tenancy.

To avoid additional charges at the end of the tenancy you must:

 Leave the house in a clean and tidy condition

 Deal with repairs that are your responsibility

 Remove paint from electrical fittings, i.e. sockets, switches, extractor fans etc.  

 Remove your possessions, including all furniture, floor coverings and refuse  

 Take final meter readings and tell your gas and electricity suppliers

 Leave some electricity and gas in the meters

 Return all of your keys to us as soon as possible
